Listed below is our range of ADSL splitters and filters. Click on an item title for more information about that accessory.

Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) is high-speed Internet access that uses existing copper telephone lines to send and receive data at fast speeds that while still allowing users to talk on the phone while they browse the web. ADSL is not generally as fast as cable Internet access. It is generally well-suited for moderate gaming, computer-aided design, streaming multimedia, and downloading large files.

A splitter, or filter, allows a single telephone connection to be used for both ADSL service and voice calls at the same time. Some internet providers will have naked DSL plans whereby you need not have a telephone line active at the address, while some ISPs (Internet Service Providers) only have ADSL plans or options that include a telephone line as well.

ADSL2+ has allowed users to increase their connection speed considerably. The difference between ADSL and ADSL2+ is speed. ADSL2+ has the ability to support up to 20Mbps and can connect to networks extremely quickly. ADSL2+ must be available to your telephone exchange to allow ADSL to be provisioned at the address.
