The Nokia E51 is one of the mobile phone models in the Nokia E Series collection. This collection boasts of very elegant and stylish cellular phones perfect for the casual communicator or the business person.
The E51 is a candy-bar type phone, measuring 114mm by 46mm by 12mm and weighing 100 grams. The E51 is a 3G, HSDPA capable phone it also has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities.
The E51 utilises the Symbian 60 platform, with support for push mail via integration with a wide range of business email solutions, including Nokia Intellisync Wireless, Blackberry Connect as well as Mail for Exchange to communicate with Microsoft Exchange Server, and consumer email.
QuickOffice provides access to Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents, in a viewing capacity only. However editing a business document on the E51's two-inch display would be difficult.
Nokia rates the E51 as being capable of up to 4.4 hours of talk time and up to 13 days standby. The E51 features one touch keys for easy access to contacts, calendar and messages, includes an FM Radio tuner, music and multimedia players, and comes with a 2 mega pixel camera. You are able watch various programs from channels like CNN and Sky News on the go as Telstra has included its Foxtel Mobile service on the E51.
