Successor to the EasyTouch Doscovery T7, the EasyTouch Discovery 2 retains the big button design of the T7 as well as remaining faithful to the big text display on a bright screen philosophy that worked so well with the EasyTouch Discovery.
This handset also has a loud speaker that provides clear sound. and also offers quick one touch access to your text messages. The handset's menus are still simple and easy to navigate, with a very intuitive feel.
Other features of the EasyTouch Discovery 2 include: Media Player, FM radio, 2 megapixel camera, video calling and much more. The T2 will accept MicroSD memory cards and supports up to 8GB which is a whole lot of MP3s and photos from the 2 megapixel camera.
Included with the package is a tutorial DVD that provides step-by-step instructions on how to use the phone. For first time mobile phone users and tech phobes this DVD will be a boon.
The EasyTouch Discovery 2 also has a Bluetick rating meaning it will provide superior coverage and performance in rural areas. There is a port to connect an external antenna to further improve reception.
Quoted battery life is three and a half hours talk time and 180 hours of standby time with 2.4 hours of talk time, a car-charger seems a wise purchase to be sure you always have a full charge.
The EasyTouch Discovery 2 is compatible with Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, MAC OS and is HSDPA capable and is a 3.6Mbs device.
