The F150 and F151 had good functionaliy and was small and compact enough to be a hit with the device's target market those who didn't need all the features of bluetooth, video calling, memory cards. Being a compact phone the keys were small and the device had no Bluetooth and limited memory, the UI was the same as the F850. These phones did have a connector for an external antenna.
Although it could work as a modem (speed was 14.4kbps) the F150 did not ship with the USB cable and CDROM for the drivers and PC client but they were available from ZTE.
A new version of JoinMe was made available for download from ZTE's website in late February 2007. This version supported the F150, F151, F850 and F851 handsets. One new features of the updated software was CSV importing.
