Telstra has added another WiFi modem to it’s range, the Elite Mobile WiFi, the ZTE MF60. The Elite boasts peak download speeds of 21Mbps with typical download speeds of between 550Kbps and 8Mbps.
The Elite Mobile Wi-Fi will sells for $129 as a prepaid device, which includes 5GB of data with a 90-day expiry. Pricing on the previous model Mobile Wi-Fi model the MF30 has dropped to $99.
The Telstra Elite is a mobile Wi-Fi router that allows or connects up to 8 Wi-Fi enabled devices to the Next G Network. The device itself is a compact unit with dimensions of approximately 100mm x 54mm x 15mm. The Elite WiFi is a quad band GSM and tri band UMTS device.
The MF60 will supports up to 32GB Micro SDHC memory for storage on the device. The unit has a quoted battery usage time of 4 hours and up to 100 hours of standby time.
The Elite WiFi modem is available as a prepaid device that is white in colour and is also available (in a blue colour) on Telstra Mobile Broadband plans for business customers.
The Elite Wifi device does have an external antenna connection port and can be teamed up with an external antenna via on of our patch leads or the inductive patch lead cradle to improve reception and marginal network areas.
