3 Mobile Roaming MEGA 3G Devices
3 mobile has introduced a new range of MEGA 3G Modems that will give you 3G speeds when you're travelling out of 3's 3G Roaming Zone. Customers will be roaming on parts of Telstra's 850MHz 3G network.
All of 3 Mobile's wireless modems and mobile handsets are 3G capable within 3's Broadband Zone. But should you find yourself out of 3's 3G Broadbane Zone, 3 have a new range of MEGA 3G mobiles and modems that provide 3G speeds even when you're travelling in their new 3G Roaming Zone. All MEGA 3G modems and mobile phones are marked with the MEGA 3G symbol.
To access Roaming, you need to manually change settings on the Connection Manager. 3's Mobile Broadband customers will see '3G Roaming' or 'EDGE Roaming' on the connection manager and the modem light will change to green / blue to highlight roaming on 2G / 3G. 3 modems have a default setting to 3 Mobile's 3G Broadband Zone.
