Blackberry Pearl 3G
Telstra is the exclusive Australian launch partner for the new BlackBerry Pearl 3G, the smallest BlackBerry yet. The Pearl 3G is expected to be launched in Australia in May 2010.

The new BlackBerry Pearl 3G smartphone combines the best of the BlackBerry email and messenging services with social networking features, has a compact, elegant design and will be available in piano black and royal purple.

The new BlackBerry Pearl 3G is less than two inches wide and weighs in at around 93 grams. This smartphone supports 3G networks, hence the 3G moniker, Wi-Fi and GPS.

The Pearl 3G features BlackBerry’s push-based email and BlackBerry Messenger. BlackBerry Messenger is instant messaging service that allows BlackBerry customers to send messages and share pictures, send voice notes and share calendars with other BlackBerry customers.

The BlackBerry Pearl 3G will be exclusively available for three months on Telstra’s Next G network. This handset’s stylish design and one handed typing QWERTY keyboard will be a plus for people who like to email, text message and who use Facebook and other social media such as Twitter.
