The Telstra Dave is your new best mate. Dave like any good mate is tough, reliable, and helps you when you need him.  Dave is the mobile  phone to have if you’re working or playing outdoors whether you’re a tradesman or an adventurer. Dave is the new Telstra tough, waterproof smartphone by Telstra.

The Telstra Dave is a ruggedised smartphone that is built by ZTE that has comes with the addition of a shock resistant casing. Telstra has added this ruggedised phone in their range in addition to the Telstra Tough 3 basic mobile phone. Dave is IP67 certified which means that it is impervious to dust penetration and water resistant to a depth of about 1m.

The Telstra Dave is 12.8cm long, 6.6cm wide and 12.1mm thick. Dave weighs in at 160 grams. Dave is also a 4G capable handset. The phone is Blue Tick Rated by Telstra, which means it’s recommended for rural handheld coverage

The Telstra Dave has the following specifications: 4.0 inch capacitive touch screen, 1.2GHz dual core processor, Bluetooth 3.0, 5 MP rear facing camera, 2.5GB internal storage onboard this is expandable to 32GB via microSD card, Android 4.1.2.
