The HTC Wildfire S utilises the same-sized 3.2 inch, capacitive touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera as the original HTC Wildfire model, although the Wildfire S has a higher display resolution of 320 x 480 pixels over its predecessor's 240x320. The Wildfire S also has a more powerful processor. There is 512MB of internal memory and the handset comes with a microSD card slot to increase storage capacity
The HTC Wildfire S runs the latest 2.3 version of Google's Android operating system known as the Gingerbread version and this is combined with HTC's Sense user interface. With HTC Sense you can group all your friends' social network updates together, so you never miss what's most important to you. These contacts can be on Facebook, Twitter or Flickr, you can keep up to date with your friends' updates, from the one screen.
The Wildfire S has a 5-megapixel camera with a single LED flash that can also function as a standard-definition (VGA) video recorder.
