Telstra business customers can now have the choice of a 4G WiFi device, the Telstra 4G WiFi W706S. This device, Australia’s first of this tye, is a personal WiFI hotspot that accesses internet at 4G speeds.
The device is battery powered and can be charged from a mains power or via a USB port.
The Telstra Mobile Wi-Fi modem can share Telstra 4G LTE network connection with up to five devices simultaneously. You can have the performance benefits of 4G mobile broadband with you existing Wi-Fi enabled devices.
The Telstra Mobile Wi-Fi 4G has a slender black design and a large LED display which shows information like as Wi-Fi name and password, signal strength, number of devices connected and battery level at a glance. The Telstra 4G WiFi supports Wi-Fi N.
The Telstra 4G WiFi has a web-based portal to access network security and Wi-Fi range settings from your internet browser. The W760S gives an alert that will let you know when devices connect and disconnect the W760S’ Wi-Fi network.

When You’re using the Telstra Mobile Wi-Fi 4G in 4G areas you can access typical download speeds of 2Mbps to 40Mbps with upload speeds being 1Mbps to 10Mbps.
Outside of 4G coverage areas the Mobile Wi-Fi 4G utilises HSPA+ Dual Channel technology to 3G. You can expect download speeds ranging of 1.1Mbps-20Mbps in all capital CBDs and much of the associated metropolitan areas and many regional locations. Outside of these areas the device transitions to Telstra’s fastest available 3G speeds.
