The HTC Desire features the most up-to-date Android software and HTC’s Sense user interface which makes this handset one of the most appealing touchscreen handsets. The Desire has been launched by Telstra on 21/04/2010. The Desire will be exclusive to Telstra for six months.

HTC has improved Sense by adding a feature called ‘Leap’. Leap is used by making a pinching motion on the touchscreen. This will then display all seven screens as thumbnails, giving you the ability to ‘leap’ from one screen to the next, without needing to scroll through the screens in between.
The Desire has a GPS receiver, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and it has an excellent web browser with Flash support.
The HTC Desire is a capable business phone with support for Microsoft Exchange email that includes the ability to search a corporate database for contacts. Quickoffice is provided for viewing Microsoft Office documents.
