Do you have a Telstra mobile phone and it just doesn’t ring for long enough before diverting to your message bank? Having trouble getting your mobile out of your bag or pocket before it goes to mobile message bank? The divert time is controlled by the network with the default ring time being just 15 seconds. If you find this is too short then enter the following sequence from the home screen, as if you were making a call:
Make Your Mobile Phone Ring For Longer
*61*101**30# then press Call.
This will extend the default ring time to 30 seconds.
You can actually set the ring time to be 15, 20, 25 or 30 seconds.
To ring for 15 seconds enter *61*101 **15# then press Call.
To ring for 20 seconds enter * 61*101**20# then press Call.
To ring for 25 seconds enter * 61*101**25# then press Call.
To ring for 30 seconds enter * 61*101 **30# then press Call.
The above screen shows that this has been successful. Your phone will now ring for the time you have set it to ring for.
This code will work for Telstra branded ZTE Android mobile phones. To change the call divert time on most ZTE / Telstra branded mobile phones follow this procedure:
Settings > Call Settings > Call forwarding > When no reply > Activate
Set the time (Delay) to 30 seconds.
